Beautiful, cosy, romantic little cottage, great facilities, loved the bath and log burner, The Duck Inn serves excellent food and in walking distance. Take a torch. So many places to visit. Spiral staircase may not be for everyone.

Lovely cosy cottage. Lovely to see the table set and flowers in it. Nice surprise was the champagne in the fridge. Log burner was lovely Not far from Sandringham or Hunstanton. The carpet was hard on your feet so slippers are recommended.

A great cosy little cottage with everything we needed for the week. Plenty to visit, I think we never had to drive more than 30 minutes distance away every day, definitely go and see the seals at Blakeney. Also treated ourselves to a nice dinner at the local pub (The Duck), can highly recommend. Only downside was that it was too hot to make use of Read morethe logburner, perhaps a return in the winter is required. Hide

The cottage is in an excellent location for exploring north Norfolk and it had everything you could want in terms of kitchen equipment and it was decorated very prettily in keeping with cottage syle but the comfort of guests would be improved if they could take hot showers, have more privacy at the back of the house if window coverings were put on Read morethe french doors The feather duvet/pillows also seemed to become a bit damp and retain moisture in the heat and for hygiene reasons a synthetic duvet/pillows would be better as they can be easily laundered The stairs are also very steep and whilst there was a grab handle, it did worry us if we had to get up in the dead of night to use the bathroom downtairs and potentially falling down the stairs so more emphasis should be put on the cottage details listed on the website referring to this as older people will potentially struggle to get up and down the stairs. Some little side tables in the living room would be handy for putting drinks down on. Hide

Would highley recommend Northgate cottage. Plenty of space for a couple, comfortable, clean and adequately equipped. The radio was playing when we arrived with two cups out ready next to the tea and coffee which was a lovely welcoming touch. Would not hesitate to book again
