Cottage small needs some work doing to it.Basic but ideal for us as a base as we know the area and could take the dog. Well situated once we found it .

We had a lovely stay in Hollyhock Cottage and Cley village. The location is great, but we took a long time to find it, and I would suggest clearer directions, and pictorial reference from the cottage owners. Good central location, found it easy to park on Fairstead. Cottage was comfortable, some low ceiling areas - beware. Because of its location the living room was very dark and lacked natural light would be better suited for cosy autumn/winter evenings when you can shut the curtains, light the fire and cosy up. Outside space was disappointing, small Read morecourtyard with large table, very little sun and shared the area with the bins. However, we had an enjoyable break where we enjoyed many local walks. LOVED Hollyhock Cottage. Small, compact and super comfortable ... only metres to the main street and parking was easy on Post Office Lane. Would highly recommend.

We had a very enjoyable few days in a lovely cottage, accessed from one of the prettiest footpaths you could imagine. The cottage is small, but has everything you need and we enjoyed great walks around the village.

The cottage is in a really good location. It has a lot of nice features and is nicely done out. The owner is really friendly and helpful. It would be nice to have more outdoor space, but it is right in the middle of Cley.

Out of date photos on website and exaggerated descriptions. Well over priced for what it was. For that price there should be a far greater attention to detail on the owners part.

Hollyhock cottage is ideally suited for couples and dog owners. There are plenty of places to walk dogs both on and off the lead. 2 great pubs within walking distance for eating/ drinks which are very dog friendly. Loads of beautiful villages and beaches to explore. Definitely be back!!

There were a few items mentioned in the folder which were incorrect. Firstly it said that beds all had an electric blanket which they didnt. It also mentioned using under floor heating, again I couldnt see any evidence of this, it wouldnt take long to update the A4 page removing these. Would also be useful to know the bin days as we had to find ourRead moreselves to ensure the bin went out correctly. We had to clean out the log burner on arrival, not a major issue and the burner vent didnt appear to be working correctly. Overall we had a great stay, just some minor points which would help guests.
