If the Broads are for you this is a great base, The Norfolk wildlife trust Hickling broad is a great visit and if you want to get onto the Broads then Sutton Staithe Boatyard is the place to get on the water. The property is a charming rural cottage and a good base.

Lovely warm cosy cottage probably best suited to couples as space is limited and only one toilet which is downstairs. Also stairs are quite steep! A lovely cottage with character, comfortable and well equipped. Walking distance to 2 good pubs and the local NWT reserve. We found the stairs quite steep - worth a mention on the website?

A lovely property ideally sited for exploration of this part of the Broads and coastline. So quiet and cosy with the Log fire and CH. Great to be able to walk from the property to the village pub, staithe and reserve and further afield to Cley and Horsey. Parking wasn't a problem. We very much enjoyed our stay at The Cottage. It's very cosy and comfortable, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. It was very peaceful, surrounded by open farmland. Saw small heard of deer in field across road most evenings, and regularly heard foxes and a tawney owl. It is in good location to explore East Norfolk and the Broads. Hickling is wondRead moreerful, and quite unspoilt. Hide

A lovely little cottage in a great location, with lots of attractions and activities within cycling distance (and the bonus of having a lockable shed for storing our bikes). Being an old cottage it is lovely and quaint and has low ceilings and doorways (a few bumped heads during the week!) It had all the equipment we needed and was nice and clean.
