We had such a lovely stay at Owl Cottage in Holt it was the perfect base for our family holiday exploring North Norfolk and enjoying days out in the area. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, and we stayed for 5 nights. The air conditioning was fantastic and very much appreciated during the sRead moreuper-hot weather that we were lucky enough to have! We also loved having breakfast outside in the courtyard garden. - Very comfy beds and comfortable bedrooms - Good showers and baths with plenty of hot water - A cosy and comfortable lounge area - Clean and well-equipped kitchen There is parking for two cars, and the cottage is ideally located on the edge of Holt, just a short walk into town. Budgens, the local supermarket, was excellent, and Holt itself is a really lovely town to explore. The Country Park is also beautiful we enjoyed a lovely cycle through the woods with the kids, with a nice stop at the caf along the way. Overall, an excellent place to stay and somewhere we would happily return to! Hide

We found Owl Cottage to be a great place to stay for exploring the northern area of Norfolk. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. Ideal for dogs with a completely enclosed garden and a porch area for storing all their food/leads/towels etc. Having the country park so close was a godsend for morning and evening walks. A really pleasanRead moret area to walk them. There was an abundance of information giving suggestions for places to visit in the area. Our favourite places being Holkam, Blinkling Hall, the train between Holt and Sheringham and Norwich is also well worth a visit. The town of Holt was really charming and the cottage was well positioned. Near enough to walk to but far enough away to not be too busy. Being able to park 2 cars next to the property was also a big bonus. Would highly recommend this property if you are visiting the area. Hide

We have visited Owl Cottage a number of times and are always delighted to stay in the cottage. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well presented with all the equipment needed for a comfortable stay. The location, a few minutes walk from the centre of Holt, is a joy. Will definitely return for a further visit in the near future.

This is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. We would book it again next year only that Norfolk is such a long drive for us to get there.

We had a great week in Owl cottage. It was perfect for us. We have a Jack Russell and walking in the Holt country Park, 5 minutes walk away , was excellent. The cottage is just appointed and.the location, just outside Holt, is fine with easy access to major roads without going through the centre.

We had a lovely stay, the cottage was spacious , nicely decorated and very well equipped. There was a very nice atmosphere about the house.
