Enjoy the magic of this very special escape, filled with books, art and antiques and boasting a gorgeous walled garden with a hot tub. A welcoming home-from-home located in a peaceful village that’s within reach of both Sandringham and the coast, it’s perfect for large families and groups of friends celebrating together.

This lovely property really has the feel of a relaxed family home, albeit one with huge period character. The high ceiling in the lounge gives it a touch of grandeur, but it’s actually a super-cosy space with comfortable seating and a Smart TV. Step through into the bright kitchen/diner, a lovely room in which everyone can gather and recount the day’s adventures. Three of the four bedrooms are also on the ground floor. The super-king-size bedroom has an en-suite WC and a fabulous, free-standing bath at the foot of the bed - pour a glass of bubbly and enjoy! Just one bedroom, a double, is situated on the first floor - a tranquil space with lovely views over the garden. The bedrooms share a spacious family shower room on the ground floor, which also doubles as a laundry room. You’ll want to spend some time wandering through the extensive grounds, which include areas for sitting back and enjoying the rural vistas and an impressive walled garden with a long dining table for al fresco meals. Here there’s also a six-person hot tub in which you can enjoy a restorative soak after a day out exploring.

From Ingoldisthorpe you can strike out into the surrounding countryside on foot or by car, discovering the charming towns and villages all around. You can cycle to the Sandringham Estate, just 3.5 miles, or head to the beach at Hunstanton, 5.5 miles, where there’s also bowling, crazy golf, pitch and putt and amusements.

  • 4 bedrooms – 1 super-king-size, 2 doubles and 1 triple room

delightful setting, it took a little longer to get to the beach than I thought, mainly far more traffic but we live in a quiet area at home so nothing misleading in the marketing.

Magical place to stay. Possibly much more character inside than the photos can show with many interesting and beautiful works of art on show. Extensive gardens to explore - wonderful for dog and grandchildren. Particularly loved the secret garden-like 'Dell' behind the Folly.
