Explore the beautiful Norfolk countryside from this bright and spacious mid-terrace cottage in Weasenham, a charming and beautifully sleepy village. This two-bed dwelling be surrounded by lovely walking trails excellent for exploring with your pets and be 3 miles from the nearest pub in Great Massingham. The North Norfolk National Landscape lies just 15 miles north, home to sand dune-backed beaches, pretty salt marshes and traditional seaside resorts like Wells-next-the-Sea (16 miles) and Hunstanton (21 miles).

You’ll enter the cottage directly into the lounge area, which has a polished wooden floor, cosy sofas, a Smart TV and a wood burner for cosiness on chilly evenings. Head through to the sweet kitchen, which features cheerful yellow cupboard doors and a wooden dining table for sit-down meals. The ground floor also includes a convenient shower room. From the kitchen, a white cottage-style staircase leads up to two charming bedrooms – a king-size and a single. Outside, the good-sized garden is a mix of gravel, patio and decked areas, presenting the perfect spot for fresh-air dining or enjoying cocktails at sunset – with the owners' sheep in the neighbouring field.

Nearby you can visit the quintessentially English market town of Burnham Market (16 miles), or head to Little Walsingham (12 miles), a historical village with pilgrimage roots. Packed your binoculars? Nature reserves at Blakeney Point (21 miles), Snettisham (15 miles) and Titchwell (18 miles) offer excellent bird-watching opportunities. If culture is more your thing, drive to historic estates like Sandringham (12 miles) and Holkham (18 miles) to visit the house and gardens before a refreshing tea and cake in the café.

This is a fantastic holiday cottage,the garden is absolutely beautifully maintained and totally sage for dogs,the cottage is also immaculate and kept to a very high standard.The property is located slightly inland which gave us the oppurtunity to fan out to lots of different coastal areas.The owners live nearby and are also lovely people,its very cRead morelear that they care about their clients.We have already booked for both May and September next year and imagine we will be going long after that Hide

No 45 was spotlessly clean when I arrived and the hosts were very kind and friendly, nothing was too much trouble of them. The garden is beautiful and quite lovely for sitting outside with a book and a cuppa on a sunny day. Wifi and parking are adequate. Weasenham is quiet which is lovely in itself. Plenty of places to visit, from Great Massingham Read moreto Castle Acre within 5 minutes drive, to the Coast, Little Walsiingham and Holt within easy distance. I would return. Hide

This is a fantastic cottage in a great location for exploring the West Norfolk area; great facilities - dishwasher, coffee maker, posh toaster too! Super garden for sitting out and enjoying a summer evening. The owners live next door and were so warm and friendly and gave great recommendations for places to visit and eat. This was one of the best places we have stayed at. The cottage was well equipped and very cosy and comfortable. The dogs were welcomed and we all enjoyed the garden which was beautiful.

The cottage was perfect. It had everything we needed, plus a lovely long secure garden for my two dogs. The host was an amazing person who really made our stay a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this cottage. Whether your just visiting Norfolk. Or walking the Peddars Way and North Norfolk Coast.

What a wonderful cottage! Spotlessly clean and superbly equipped, we couldn't find fault with anything, inside or out. The garden was lovely; fully secure for our two dogs (one of whom loves to escape but no possibility here!), and with both sunrises and sunsets was just delightful. The owners live next door but were very discrete, apart from when Read moreneeded (rescuing me from a huge hornet in the utility room!) but were concerned that all was OK with our stay. the cottage is in a very quiet village quite a distance from the coast. the local pub was closed and the nearest pub and shop were several miles away in another village. The whole area is very green unspoiled countryside, interspersed with small towns and villages. the cottage owner was very friendly and helpful and was readily available to give heRead morelp or advice.if needed. One of the best cottages me and my dad have stayed at. Everything finished to a high standard a real home from home. Idea location for visiting all local attractions. The owners are next door and go out of their way to make the stay exceptional. Its well equipped comfortable and homely, will come again.

The family owners live locally and after our arrival we contacted them to make them aware of our arrival. We fixed up a time at their request for a visit. this was to make sure we were happy with everything which we were. Carolyn, the owner was very attentive and after this initial visit the only contact with her was for a duplicate key as we had tRead moreemporally misplaced ours. This is a lovely cottage which is ideally located within a short drive of the main costal towns, and both Norwich and King's Lynn. The Dabbling Duck PH at Great Massingham nearby is excellent, great beer and food and the takeaway burgers are to die for. Stayed in July 2023 beautiful part of Norfolk very central also not far from the coast or if you fancy a day trip to Norwich city! The cottage was like home from home comfortable and very well kept !! Enclosed garden so even small dogs are not a worry just to let out and all in fantastic views of fields and sheep definatly going back!!!

The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped! Super kitchen and all modern appliances with washing machine & dryer in the sun lounge. Beds are comfortable and spacious bedrooms with walk in wardrobe. Great big garden and seating. Our dog felt very at home!

Excellent cottage in a village, far enough from the busy area but only 20 minutes from the beach. The cottage is larger than youd expect, more than enough room for three adults and a retriever.

Delightful find very peaceful location. lovely cottage well thought out decor and styling felt at home straight away. the private garden with seating was lovely in evening sunlight, everything we needed and more,delightful to find a holiday cottage with a decent sized fridge and better still freezer compartment.
