Hawthorns Lower is a wonderful property, close to all amenities, offering families a superb base from which to explore the local area and beyond. Within 0.5 miles, you can hire a boat to explore the waterways of the Broads, famous for dramatic landscapes and wildlife, including otters, fish, ducks, herons and kingfishers. Fun-filled family days out within easy reach include BeWilderwood (6 miles) Dinosaur Adventure (20 miles) and Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park (26 miles). The nearby coastline is dotted with interesting towns and villages, where you’ll find traditional seaside fairs and sandy beaches. The nearest golden beach with resident seals at Sea Palling is less than 5 miles away. Ideal for some serious retail therapy, the beautiful, historic cathedral city of Norwich is just 16 miles away.

This wonderfully presented, spacious holiday home is ideal for the whole family and with no stairs, you can all be on one level together, creating special memories. The well-equipped kitchen offers everything you’ll need to lovingly prepare anything from a light snack to a hearty evening meal and the dining table can comfortably seat up to six guests. The lounge area has enough sofas to seat all guests so cosy up together and watch your preferred streaming service on the Smart TV. When it’s time to call it a night and get some well-earned sleep, you have choice of a king-size room or two twin rooms, all with ample storage space for clothes and personal items, and all share a family shower room with WC. There is a shared utility room which has a washing machine, tumble dryer, trouser press, and ironing board.

There are two outside areas to enjoy, meaning you can follow the sun around. The rear of the property is an enclosed, gravelled area with seating provided and to the front is an enclosed garden and patio area, with a picnic style bench, ideal to gather around to enjoy some drinks together or dine alfresco while the sun goes down. Next door to Hawthorns is a chalet park, for which a swimming pass is provided for use of the outdoor swimming pool which is seasonal and is open throughout the summer months (May - September). There is also a bar and restaurant on the park, too, which is open between March and October.

There is also a fully enclosed / fenced dog field (2 acres) with shelter, table and chairs called Tilly's meadow which is located 15 miles from the property and is available to hire at an additional cost of £10 per hour which can be arranged directly with the owners.

Lovely accommodation and a good base for visiting the area. I would advise anyone thinking of taking food supplies with them to wait until you arrive because more than enough fresh produce for cooked breakfast/milk/tea & coffee was provided and anything you don't have can be bought at the Tesco store a couple minutes drive away. Our stay was only FRead moreri-Mon but would like to return some time to see more of the area. Hide

The house was really bright and comfortable. It had everything you needed for a relaxing home. It is situated close to local shops and everything is in walking distance. Everyone was catered for including the dogs. The gardens are secure. They are a good place to spend an evening. Being able to use the facilities at the chalet park next door was goRead moreod.. There is ample parking spaces for 2-3 cars in the car park next to the house. There is something for all ages close by. Make sure you visit. Hide
