Saint Olaves, on the River Waveney, is 2 miles away. Here, you can hire a boat to explore the Broads’ picturesque waterways. Within a day, you can cruise to Broads’ highlights such as Oulton Broad, Burgh St Peter, and Burgh Castle. For a traditional day at the seaside, head to Gorleston-on-Sea (5.5 miles), with its 2-mile crescent of golden sand. There are some gorgeous walks from here, either along the promenade or the Norfolk Coast Path.
