Well-positioned for getting to know the county, the accommodation is within reach of the Norfolk Coast National Landscape (3.5 miles) and the Norfolk Broads National Park (8 miles). It’s just 300 metres from the mighty coastal path, putting beaches and incredible cliff-top sights within effortless reach for daily hikes. It’s just 5 miles from Mundesley, a livelier Victorian seaside village with a beach backed by colourful, traditional fishing huts. As well as being on the Norfolk Coast Path, Mundesley is also situated on the Paston Way, a 22-mile walking route that offers incredible scenery from Cromer (12 miles) to North Walsham (6.5 miles), well worth a wander on a bright, sunny day.

Lovely, homely cottage, cosy clean and warm, the addition of the conservatory was great, used to sit there when back from visiting other places, nice to relax in. Partial sea view too, although hedge could have done with a bit of a trim to making viewing clearer. Lovely comfy beds, well equipped, clean kitchen and a washing machine which was handy.Read more Dog friendly too. So good that as soon as home I booked again for next year. Really enjoyed our week of relaxing at Driftwood. The bungalow has a lovely conservatory to sit and read and listen to the sound of the sea. This is our second year at this property and the dog really felt at home as did we. Our morning walks on the beach a treat for her. The day we left she hid. Very comfortable place with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The pub is only a short walk over the field.

A delightful place to stay. Warm and welcoming, very well appointed with everything one should need, including a pair of binoculars! The bathroom/wetroom works very well and the shower was perfect. The owners left a welcome pack which was very thoughtful and as it was Christmas they had decorated the place with some thoughtful festive additions.

Te access to second bedroom is awkward for anyone disabled or not. You have to hope no one is in the bathroom due to faffing with folding door and bathroom door which opens fully across it.

The cottage was spot on. The location (2 minutes to beach) saw a few sunrises walking the dog there. 15 Minutes walk across the field to the The lighthouse pub. The conservatory was a great reading room for my better half. Wi-fi was good and a TV in each room was a boon. All in all a great relaxing place to stay.
