I should start by saying the town Holt is lovely and it was so nice being in the middle of the town, to be able to walk out to get a drink and for food etc. However the drawback is the cottage position as its right next door to a beer retailer and the noise every early morning is so bad, so be prepared to be woken every morning with either deliveriRead morees or car noise. It is not a particularly comfortable cottage, as upstairs is the seating area, the rooms are small. An uncomfortable cottage. Hide

We would thoroughly recommend staying in the Old Coach House. It is very well equipped and its proximity to Holt and the ease of parking outside is great. We will stay again.

Nice little place to stay that's situated very conveniently to access the North coast. Town has some lovely little shops and eateries with a supermarket nearby. Would definitely stay in Holt again.

Excellent position for exploring Holt and North Norfolk. Unfortunately due to being in the centre of town there is quite a bit of road noise.

An attractive property in an excellent position. Holt is perfect centre for exploring the stunning Norfolk coast. Upstairs bedroom is not suitable for an older couple.

This is was my second time staying at the property. Had an issue with the heating in the evening that was promptly sorted when I rang the out of hours service. The office called me the following morning to follow up and check everything was as it should be, cannot fault the service or the property.

The cottage was clean with everything you would need in the kitchen. Plenty of towels were supplied and a lovely welcome pack was there on our arrival. The property was a little cool. I think it may be cold later in the season. I assume due to the type of building there is no room in the walls for insulation. Lovely little place. My wife and I enjoyed our visit and would return.

Clean, well equipped cottage. Great location for Holt and the wider north Norfolk coast. Only minor gripe is that the mattress in the main bedroom is not particularly comfortable.

Very well appointed and equipped, high quality - like a home from home. Cosy sitting room. Windows on one side of the building only and so a bit dark without the lights on. Right in the centre of Holt with everything a few minutes' walk away. Road is quite busy during the day, but quiet at night.

I think the heating system is very temperamental and hard to reach a comfortable medium. We felt the kitchen and bathroom were lovely but felt the lounge area in particular and the bedroom needs some tlc, the bed has some broken springs and the settee is really uncomfortable. I don't think it would take a lot to make the lounge and bedroom feel as Read morecomfortable as the kitchen which was lovely to sit it. Hide
