Head inside this stone-built property and leave your shoes in the spacious hallway where there is a bench and space to hang your coats. Climb the stairs to the bright and airy open-plan living space. Set under a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams, neutral furnishings and calming decor, this is a welcoming space to relax and socialise with friends. Fire up the lounge’s warming wood burner and get cosy on the sofas or cook up a storm in the contemporary kitchen/diner which has everything you need for your self-catering break. Downstairs are the sumptuous bedrooms, choose from a king-size, or a double bedroom, both decorated with a nautical theme. Completing the interior of the accommodation is a bathroom with shower over the bath, and a WC. There are two outdoor areas to enjoy at this property. Sip a morning coffee on the balcony through the lounge doors or spend an evening in the garden where there is place to sit and a BBQ to cook up some al fresco dinner.

Beautiful cottage inside and out. Very spacious for 4 adults and 2 dogs. Very clean and tidy and had everything needed available. Beds were very comfortable. Was lovely to be able to sit out on the balcony and relax. Only a few minutes walk down to the beach. And the parking space easily fit 2 cars.

A very comfortable house in a superb location. The local pub serves superb grub. Our puppy really appreciated the garden, a delight to sit in and relax after a long day out. The stairs are quite steep, so probably not suitable if your mobility isn't too good.

Lovely, attractive cottage. Very well equipped and clean. Really enjoyed eating out on the verandah (weather permitting). Also loved the small garden with the stream running through. The dogs loved the water and it was easy to keep an eye on them. Despite being close to the beach there was no noise to disrupt the peace of the cottage. Would certainRead morely want to return. We had a great week at the lovely cottage. Fantastic location near the beach and a short walk to the village pub and the little shop/cafe. The garden is lovely with a stream running through it which the dogs loved as it was so hot while we were there. Will definitely be returning. Lots of places to explore and the local bus is an excellent service.Read more Hide

Excellent property, very clean and tidy in a good state of repair, brilliant location, will definitely be returning. Just one negative was the Welcome pack that is provided is very basic and not much of a welcome and the milk inside the pack had expired.

Mill Barn is charming, lovely setting with the mill stream running through the garden, and very quiet and peaceful. The property is comfortable and well equipped though the fridge is rather small. The village shop at the top of the lane has everything you might need and serves excellent coffee! The garden is fully enclosed, perfect for dogs.

We had a wonderful stay at Mill Barn. The directions were helpful and getting into the cottage was very easy with the key safe. What a treat of a location! We loved the extra treats and cleaning products and felt that the cottage gave us plenty of companionable living space and seating for the whole family. The balcony for our breakfast and walks along the coast just around the corner really helped us all to unwind after a long half term.
