As per other reviews the cottage is in need of decorating. Fridge works but is damaged and needs attention or replacing. Shower alternates boiling hot and freezing cold so also needs attention, but there is a bath to use as an alternative. Lovely village, excellent location, garden and grounds both lovely and well kept. Thank goodness for WiFi as nRead moreo phone signal within the property. All basic needs met and good value for money. Would stay there again if the cottage was updated. Hide

Location is lovely, but the cottage is smaller than the booking info suggests. Apart from the kitchen the furnishings and facilities are pretty basic, especially in the lounge, and the whole place is in need of some TLC. No visitors' book so do your own research for places to eat etc.

Lovely place to stay to explore the north coast and walks for dogs. House clean but in need of a refresh as very tired. Kitchen equipment could be better . Visitors book would be great to see where other guests recommend for pubs/ walks etc .

This cottage is in a beautiful village with no thru traffic. It is located off the road overlooking fields. The gardens are lovely and well kept but the property is tired inside and out and in need of some cosmetic updating. Bedrooms are a good size and the bed linen good quality.

The cottage is situated in a really lovely location with a pleasant garden and some lovely walks. As other reviews suggest we did find the cottage a bit on the tatty side and no wifi did turn out to be quite an issue for us. We were a bit disappointed looking at the adjoining properties which had been renovated. I would visit the location again butRead more would very likely look at booking the property next door! Off road parking is provided but be aware that the spaces are very tight. Hide

Everything was great except the large number of dead flies in the kitchen and bathroom. The welcome packs were very welcome and a nice touch. The house could do with a lick of paint in places (but so could my house). The owner must be a birder as there is a fantastic collection of bird books on the book shelves.
