A contemporary-style holiday lodge in a quiet spot 0.5 miles outside peaceful Happisburgh, offering a perfect escape for a couple or friends looking to unwind on the beautiful Norfolk Coast. You’ll have lovely views of the iconic Happisburgh Lighthouse and be less than 1 mile from its stunning unspoilt beach that’s wonderful for picnics and dog walks. You’ll also have pubs and shops within 1 mile for convenience during your stay.

Modern and stylish, this lodge features a spacious, open-plan living area with a high slanted ceiling and plenty of light. You’ll have sofa space, a TV, a dining table and a wood burner for keeping cosy. Each room is decorated in an appealing, simple style, with plenty of blue shades and subtle decorative touches in the form of patterned cushions and shiny kitchen tiles. Two bedrooms, a double and a single, allow for a choice of sleeping arrangements. Outside, by the entrance, there’s a grassy spot and seating area where you can sit and read a book while taking in the lighthouse views. You’ll also have access to a larger lawned garden where you can dine alfresco.

Beyond the property and the picturesque coastal village of Happisburgh, you’ll find plenty to do in the surrounding area. Wroxham, the hub of the Norfolk Broads, is only 12 miles away, offering delightful boat trips along its scenic waterways. Horsey Beach (9 miles) is home to a grey seal colony, while Cromer (14.5 miles) offers the traditional seaside experience – take a pier stroll and tuck into fish and chips for a relaxing afternoon out. Norwich (21 miles) is rich in history with its castle and cathedral.

Beautiful cottage, well equipped and thoughtfully laid out. 20 min walk to the dog friendly beach. Treats for both us and our pet a nice touch!

We had a wonderful stay in Happisburgh, the location of Lighthouse Lodge was perfect with lots of walks for the dog, and only a short 15 minute walk to the beach. The property is quite quirky, being part of an old chicken shed. It Is tucked away with a cosy feeling and small private garden which adjoins the caravan pitches. These were not busy during our stay so it was quiet. The spacious open plan living area feels airy and has an outlook across fields to the lighthouse. Lighthouse lodge - perfect. Very clean, well equipped with spacious accommodation. Beds extremely comfortable. Rooms had plenty of storage space. Enough of an enclosed garden for the dog. The owners kindly provided tea, coffee, milk and fab biscuits. Even left some treats for the dog. Quiet and peaceful. What more could you want?

Excellent cottage very well equipped. Dog friendly with an enclosed garden. Lovely welcome pack to start off the holiday. There are instructions explaining everything you need to know. Ros & Tony on hand if you need anything. Excellent location you can cut across the fields to the beach. Lots to see and do wildlife in abundance.

This is a lovely cottage in a great location. It is in a very peaceful spot with a great view across the fields to the lighthouse. Only a fifteen minute walk (for us oldies anyway) to the beautiful Happisburgh beach. The cottage is well equipped, very clean and comfortable. A very spacious property very clean and fresh. Everything you needed was provided for throughout the place. A relaxing time had by all. The view of the lighthouse was great. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We really appreciated the lovely welcome pack, the log burning stove was set ready to light with a good supply of logs, kindling sticks and fire lighters. Really enjoyed our stay. The Lodge was spotlessly clean, and had everything you would need to hand. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. The owners have gone to a great deal of trouble to make it a home from home. The location is ideal , the beach is 15 minutes away, as is the pub, we were there for a week and the car only went out twice. A perfect peaceful haven beautifully converted with comfort and very well equipped. Dont be put off with the exterior as the interior is worth the stay. The hosts have thought of everything you might need including the very generous welcome pack and treats for our dog
