Discovered, loved and visited Norfolk since late 90s, owning a static there in the 00s. This is our most favourite, beautiful place to stay. Birders have Snettisham, Titchwell and Cley in easy distance with beautiful routes. Add Holt, Castle Acre,Castle Rising and all around Sandringham very close.. cannot fault Norfolk or this cottage in any way. A super, cosy cottage in a stunning location, we didnt want to leave! Everything was clean, tidy and well equipped. Comprehensive folder of notes/rules was very helpful. The access for parking at the rear of the property was fine for our large SUV. We will definitely return.

We've had a lovely week at Thompsons, the cottage was very comfortable although it did take little while for us to get used to the idea that it was upside down living with the bedrooms downstairs and the living room/kitchen upstairs to take advantage of the views. This cottage looks good and is in a beautiful location. It is well equipped except there is no freezer. The floors are all hard, even on the stairs, so they can be slippery. Parking the car was awkward. There is only room for a small car really so my JaguarF-pace was a nightmare. The bathrooms are small and under equipped.

The cottage is just about perfect; the owners have clearly put in a lot of thought and effort to make it a true home away from home. We have never returned to the same place, but we just might make an exception and visit Thompson's and the delightful area again! 10 out of 10, unconditional recommendation!
