This light-filled house is set over three storeys and is decorated in timeless style, while being provided with everything you’ll need for an enchanting getaway. The lounge/diner offers an array of seating, a dining table for six and a brick fireplace with a wood burner. Switch on the Sky TV, watch a DVD, play on the Wii or Xbox, or set up some music on a CD or iPod. In the kitchen you’ll find everything necessary for putting together delicious meals, and there’s also a separate dining room with a table for four. On the first floor there are two bedrooms: a spacious king-size with sea views and an en-suite shower room, plus a coastal-themed twin room that’s perfect for children. The family bathroom is adjacent, and up another flight of stairs you’ll find the final bedroom, another king-size, with a TV/DVD (note that there are some areas of low, sloping ceiling). In the enclosed, lawned garden a dining set is ready for you to take your supper outdoors or sip a sundowner.
From Overstrand you can reach Cromer in just 2 miles by road or the coast path. This handsome resort has a sandy beach, Victorian pier and plenty of places to shop, eat and drink. Take the children to Amazona Zoo, or head to Sheringham, 7.5 miles, and hop on the steam train that puffs through stunning scenery to the Georgian market town of Holt.
