Enjoy the traditional character of this handsome flint cottage, which welcomes families or friends for special getaways in the quiet village of Mundesley. Visit the beach, walk by the coast and spend evenings in the local pub – a chance to escape the everyday and relax in beautiful surroundings, with all mod cons to hand.
This beautiful cottage mingles olde worlde appeal with modern comforts, and has some lovely touches such as exposed-flint walls and painted beams. Hang your coat in the hall before heading into the comfortable lounge, where you can entertain yourselves with the TV/DVD and Blu-ray player, or perhaps a book from the shelves. Alternatively, sit back on the sofa in the conservatory, which doubles as a delightful breakfast room. The kitchen boasts all the appliances you’ll need to cater for your holiday, and leads to the elegant dining room with its long, polished table. All three bedrooms are on the first floor: a king-size room which boasts a TV and an en-suite bathroom, a twin (king-size on request) and a sweet single. There’s also a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. There’s a seating area at the front of the house, plus a rear garden, mostly shingled, where you’ll find a dining set ready for al fresco meals and entertainment.
The pretty Victorian village of Mundesley has several shops and places to eat, and is the starting point for a variety of country walks. Its wide, sandy beach has rock pools and colourful beach huts for hire, with a cafe and lifeguards in the summer. If you fancy a bit more bustle, livelier Cromer is only 7.5 miles away and offers more shops, restaurants and pubs, plus two sandy beaches, a lovely promenade and a pier with a variety show.
