Continue into the farmhouse-style kitchen with a wooden beamed ceiling and neutral tones throughout. The one-wall, fitted kitchen boasts wooden countertops and a Nespresso coffee machine. Benefiting from views of the garden through the tall windows and patio door is a chic wooden dining table. Also on the ground floor is a WC. Upstairs you’ll find a family bathroom plus three bedrooms – two doubles, one with a TV and a twin room with a TV. Outside is a small patio area with furniture and a chimenea.
While staying in the pretty village of Thornham, explore your surroundings to find the local deli plus a couple of cosy pubs (0.5 miles). Wander along Staithe Lane to reach the beginning of the coast path which will take you to the historic Thornham Old Harbour (1 mile) and east to Holme Dunes National Nature Reserve, behind the sandy shores of Holme-next-the-Sea Beach (2 miles). Explore the surrounding historic buildings, including Creake Abbey Ruins (9.5 miles), Houghton Hall and Gardens (11.5 miles) and Sandringham Estate (12.5 miles).
