Explore Norfolk from this pretty cottage off a quiet road in the sweet village of Weasenham, near lots of popular market towns and villages, fascinating attractions, and the coast. The homely lodge is all on one level and is perfect for nature lovers and keen walkers, it has a private garden and patio, and access to the owner’s larger garden.

The spacious single-storey lodge has smart exteriors with traditional Norfolk flint. Step inside the lovely, light, open-plan lounge/diner with plenty of space to relax on the sofas and watch the TV, or put some music on, play cards, and enjoy sociable mealtimes at the dining table and chairs next to the window. You’ll find everything you need to self-cater in the cottage-style kitchen next door. Just off the entrance hall, there’s a handy boot room with a separate WC. There are also two bedrooms, the master double and a pretty twin room, along with a bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Outside, you can sit on the sunny patio with a cool drink among the beautifully maintained plants and you’re welcome to explore the owners’ garden, which leads to walks in nearby fields.

Head out and explore Houghton Hall (5 miles), a stunning home and gardens, and Sandringham Estate (11 miles) with 400 acres of gardens and a fascinating museum. Visit the popular seaside towns and beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea (16.5 miles) and Hunstanton (20 miles,) and explore the famous shrine at Little Walsingham (12 miles). Burnham Market (16.5 miles) is a great place to eat out and you’ll find a village shop nearby in Great Massingham (3.5 miles). For wildlife lovers, there are nature reserves at Blakeney Point (21.5 miles), Snettisham (15 miles) and Titchwell (18 miles).

Extremely comfortable, warm holiday accommodation with every amenity. Attractive location between Swaffham and Fakenham within easy reach of all North Norfolk coast locations. Our second visit certainly didn't disappoint - we hope to visit again!

We loved the cottage, very peaceful and cosy. Everything we needed was present in the cottage and would highly recommend to friends. The bedroom layout met our needs perfectly with a double and two singles. The owner is very friendly and at hand should you have an queries. Lovely garden/patio to spend time in.

Comfortable property in a quiet location ideally situated to explore North Norfolk. We were able to relax either on the patio area or in the lounge after a day out. Comfortable beds meant a good nights sleep ready for the next day. Pleasant owner on hand if needed but unobtrusive.

Beautiful quiet location, a comfortable & spacious property with everything you could need along with a delightful host means that Lavender Cottage is up there with the very best we've stayed at. Highly recommended to all & we hope to be back soon.

Lavender Lodge was very comfortable, well equipped and convenient for visiting North Norfolk. It had everything we required for a short break. We particularly liked the sheltered courtyard space overlooking the garden. Perfect for a cup of tea / coffee between exploring the coast and villages nearby. Lovely peaceful location, spacious accommodation , well equipped with everything. Beautiful garden to sit out in and watch the swallows. We had a fabulous holiday in beguiling Norfolk which is like no other county and would love to come back.
