Located in the pretty village of South Creake, this wonderful barn conversion makes a peaceful getaway, with space for six friends or family and two furry friends. The cottage has two gardens, an open fire, an AGA, two bedrooms and a shower room on the ground floor, and is close to the coast, wonderful towns and attractions.
The former coach house, set in the grounds of the owners’ house, has heaps of character and original features, with a high ceiling, wooden beams and a brick chimney in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen/diner has a homely feel with a stone floor, an AGA and an electric oven. Get together at mealtimes at the breakfast table and chairs for six. The kitchen connects to the welcoming lounge, where you can relax in front of the open fire and Smart TV, and a spiral staircase leads up to the double bedroom on the mezzanine. The two other bedrooms are downstairs, a large twin room, and a single with an additional pull-out bed for one, as well as the shower room. Outside, the washing machine, freezer and extra fridge are in the outhouse and there are two pretty garden areas, an enclosed walled/fenced garden great for dining alfresco, and beyond it a larger garden with a pond and the tiny River Burn running through it.
