This characterful Victorian house, set over three levels, is ideal for friends and families looking for a relaxing holiday - a perfect base to explore the surrounding Norfolk countryside. The property has a downstairs shower room and is dog-friendly. Cyclists and walkers will love having access to the Peddars Way from the village, a trail of 46 miles to explore at your own pace.

Enter this pretty, detached house with a traditional, cottage-style feel, plenty of contemporary comforts and lots of social spaces to ensure a memorable stay. Two separate lounges offer comfortable sofas and TVs so you can choose where to relax and recharge; one boasts an open fire, while the other has a dual-facing wood burner. The other side of the wood burner faces into the dining area of the kitchen/diner, which provides a cosy ambience for celebratory meals. The kitchen/diner has all you need to cook up a feast. Children can hide in the snug, and a shower room completes downstairs. On the first floor are three bedrooms - one super-king-size, one double and one single. There is also a stylish bathroom. A steeper staircase arrives on the second floor which has low doorways to the two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom. Spill out into the lovely, fully enclosed garden with a selection of garden furniture and BBQ for dining alfresco.

For outdoor enthusiasts, Thetford Forest (10 miles) is a must-visit, with hiking and cycling trails that suit all abilities. A great day out for all ages is the Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, which has a museum and a rare breeds farm. There are plenty of delightful market towns to discover including Swaffham (4 miles) or head further afield to the former Hanseatic port of Kings Lynn (20 miles).

Absolutely fabulous space. Five in our group so we relished having a lot of space, but even if there were more of us, the house could accommodate that. We all felt safe and comfortable and it was perfect for our group. Would definitely want to stay there again. Thank you for such a wonderful property.

Located in a quiet village location, in a lovely fully enclosed garden, complete with outdoor games, small slide and seesaw, large barbecue and plenty of seating and tables. The sun is in the garden all day. Inside the house are 3 separate lounges, so you can always find somewhere peaceful to relax. A large dining table, a large cooker and plenty oRead moref cutlery, crockery, glasses and cooking utensils. Bedrooms all large and excellent bathrooms. The stairs to 2nd floor are steep. The house was perfect for our family group (7 adults / 2 boys and dogs) over the Christmas period. It was spacious enough for us to enjoy spending time together but also had a games and TV room. The roaring fire and decorations made it feel christmasy. We found some great dogs walks but it was a shame the pub next door was closed! Thanks to Sally tRead morehe host for being attentive although as everything was perfect we had no real call to bother her. Totally recommend staying! Hide

We has a lovely time af Glebe House. The facilites where to the expected standard and plenty of space inside and out. The locals are very freindly adding to.the experence.

Just be aware many low ceilings and doorways in this property, so if you are tall , it can be painful!

Glebe House was a lovely place to stay over Christmas. The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were comfy. Sally was quick at replying which was helpful. Be wary if you are over 5 feet 8 as there are some low doorways!

A lovely house with some nice thoughtful touches. Everyone liked it especially our grandchildren and plenty of space for everyone. Sally is friendly and helpful.
