Sheringham is a traditional seaside town with a wide, sandy beach backed by a long promenade and a row of colourful beach huts. In the town, you’ll have a great selection of pubs, cafes, and tea rooms to dine in, as well as a museum and theatre for when the weather doesn’t allow a day at the beach. The North Norfolk Railway is based in Sheringham, and you can board the steam trains here to visit the Georgian town of Holt. From Sheringham, follow the Norfolk Coast Path for 5 miles to the vibrant resort of Cromer.
