The converted barn is set in the grounds of the owner’s manor house. The accommodation is arranged across one level and at the heart of the home is a spacious lounge/kitchen/diner. This impressive room features a vaulted ceiling with exposed trusses, and has French doors opening onto the outside space. In one corner is a country-style kitchen area with everything needed for a self-catering break, and there’s a charming dining table with two seats and a bench for sharing mealtimes as a group. After dinner, sink into one of the plush sofas to watch the Smart TV/DVD. The property has two inviting double bedrooms, both with en-suite facilities and characterful original features. One of the bedrooms has French doors opening onto the enclosed patio garden. Here, you can dine alfresco or relax in the hot tub after a day of sightseeing.
Spend the day at the seaside in Cromer, strolling along the sandy shoreline, watching a variety show at the end of the pier, or sampling the famous Cromer crab in one of the delicious seafood restaurants. The Norfolk Coast Path passes through the town, and you can follow it for 5 miles to Sheringham. From here, hop on one of the steam trains to chug your way through the beautiful countryside to the market town of Holt, known for its fantastic array of independent shops and eateries.
