Sandringham and the King’s estate is a short drive along with many other grand houses including Holkham Hall. Attractions include, Pensthorpe, Amazona at Cromer, Dinosaur Adventure Park and the English Heritage sites at Castle Acre and Castle Rising. For shopping and places to eat head to Burnham Market, Brancaster, North Creake or Hunstanton.

Approached via country lanes, past the working Windmill at Great Bircham, this delightful property enjoys views over the fields to the village beyond. Beautifully finished and furnished by the owners, the property offers stylish accommodation. Guests enter this stunning barn, into a spacious open plan kitchen/lounge, a perfect area for the whole family getting together, with woodburner (first basket of logs included), comfortable sofas and lovely soft furnishings, TV and DVD. A well equipped  kitchen area with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. A good size dining room is off the kitchen/lounge area with table and chairs. A family shower room on the ground floor comprising of corner shower cubicle, wash hand basin, WC and heated towel rail. Stairs lead to the first floor bedrooms a king size bedroom with an en suite shower room, WC and wash hand basin, a further twin bedroom, both bedrooms have some restricted head height.  On the landing area is a large sofa bed which can sleep a further 2 guests.

Outside: A private enclosed mature  garden with plants and shrubs, a decked area with garden furniture and BBQ.

This is a lovely cottage in a great location, just 15-20 minutes from several beaches and a great base to explore the Norfolk coast. The entrance/driveway is shared with the owners and their house is next door but they give you privacy and sent some useful recommendations. There's a great secure garden for dogs though the owners have two dogs whichRead more do like to bark when in the garden which is adjacent (like mine is, so no complaints but something for others to be aware of!). The property is deceptively large, well finished and very comfortable. At the end of a track, the accommodation is quiet and ideal for a quiet break, whilst only a few minutes drive from Snettisham, Brancaster etc. there are many pub restaurants nearby and we were lucky in that the owner gave us several pointers as to where to eat. Lovely location, lots of wildlife to see and very quiet. Cottage needs upgrading in places and garden areas/furniture need a tidy. Facilities ok, but towels and bedding need replacing. A small welcome pack would have been good, never been anywhere before without a pint of milk left for that first cuppa!

Good location, the owner who lives next door is very helpful. But work is needed in tidying up the garden furniture and immediate approach to the cottage.

Overall we had a lovely holiday, a great location and Richard came and said hello and was very friendly. Generally our stay was comfortable and we enjoyed it, however, there were things that could be improved upon. The kitchen didn't have oven gloves and this is the only place I've stayed that didn't offer a small welcome pack, not even a pint of mRead moreilk in the fridge. Items were left in the freezer from previous guests. Dogs are not allow upstairs - I think this should be on the description. Hide

We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely return. The cottage is lovely and the garden was perfect for our dogs. We were very grateful for the quiet location and was a well linked base to explore North Norfolk.

A great cottage large and bright with a great kitchen diner. The rooms were immaculate clean and fresh The cottage had a great location The owner Richard was so helpful and informative. We loved our stay. We brought two dogs and there was a nice enclosed garden for them. Will come again loved it Peter

Wonderful stay at the cottage, really enjoyed our time there and we had everything we needed. It was perfect for our dog too, particularly the enclosed garden. Hope to return later this year!

A lovely place to stay. The garden is secure for dogs. The living room is cosy and the wood burner made it very warm. The kitchen is very well-equipped. It was well located for lovely beaches and walks.

The is a beautiful cottage with a great secure garden for the dogs. Absolute tranquility in the farmland and great views of the kites. The cottage has everything that opens and closes; so you will want for nothing. Cosy with underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs, quality linen and towels.

The Cottage & facilities were excellent and really dog friendly with an enclosed garden and a private long lane entrance for dog walking. The owners were friendly and very helpful without being intrusive. We would definitely return and highly recommend this Cottage.
