This delightful holiday home is in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, 5 miles from Wroxham. You’ll also be just 10 miles from the sandy beaches of Norfolk’s east coast. The property sleeps four guests and makes a lovely couples’ retreat or base for a small family. After a day of adventure, relax in the pretty cottage garden, dining alfresco and listening to the birds in the trees.
The converted coach house sits within the grounds of the owner’s manor house. The property has been lovingly transformed into a stylish holiday home that combines original features, such as exposed beams and brickwork, with contemporary decor and homely touches. The galley-style kitchen/diner is bathed in natural light, thanks to the skylight overhead, and has everything needed to rustle up tasty feasts for the group. At the far end is a farmhouse-style dining table for sharing mealtimes together. The inviting lounge is an equally bright space, with patio doors leading to the garden, a TV/DVD, and an assortment of comfortable seating. A stylish shower room completes the ground floor. Upstairs, discover a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a cosy twin. These rooms are set in the eaves, so you may experience restricted head height in some areas. Outside, the enclosed garden has a patio area for al fresco dining and a small lawn surrounded by pretty flowers.
The seaside village of Mundesley is 9 miles away, and boasts a long, sandy beach backed by colourful beach huts. Enjoy walks from here along the Norfolk Coast Path and the Paston Way, which both pass through the village. Alternatively, spend the day exploring the picturesque waterways of The Broads. Journey south to the idyllic town of Wroxham, where you’ll find a myriad of boat hire companies and some beautiful riverside walks.
