For a coastal escape near the charming town of Sheringham, this lovely chalet-style lodge is a great place for a break for couples and small families with a dog. Boasting an open-plan living area and an idyllic patio at the front, there are plenty of places for you to sit and soak up the tranquillity of the location. Meanwhile, in the town itself you’ll be able to make the most of days at the beach spent exploring rockpools and wandering along the promenade.
The main living space of the bungalow is cosy and homely with a sumptuous sofa and armchair encouraging you to kick back and relax. Having been cleverly designed to make the most of the space, the kitchen area is equipped with everything you’ll need to make meals and picnics during your stay, with a four-seater dining table lit by the dual-aspect windows for you to gather around and eat. Both of the bedrooms feature double beds for a good night’s rest, whilst one benefits from built-in storage where you can unpack your belongings and make yourself at home.
For an active adventure, you could join a stretch of the Norfolk Coast Path travelling towards Cromer (5 miles) to soak up the scenery and marvel at the epic views along the way. Cromer itself has a lot to offer as a traditional seaside resort with a pretty pier, amusements and golden sandy beach – not to mention the tasty Cromer crabs served up at eateries along the shore. Lovers of wildlife will enjoy the opportunity to go on a seal-spotting boat trip from Blakeney where you’ll see the shore from a unique perspective.
