Perfect for two, this former coastguard’s hut has been transformed into a quirky, cosy retreat with sea views in the village of Mundesley. The nearest beach is within 500 metres of your front door, meaning romantic walks along the sand or active adventures on the Norfolk Coast Path are within easy reach.

Enjoying open-plan living, this space has been designed to encourage guests to relax with a neutral colour scheme and home comforts. The blinds offer privacy, whilst on sunny days you can throw them open and make the most of the light, bright area. A quaint dining table for two offers a place to sit for breakfast, lunch and dinner, whilst the modern kitchen set-up ensures you have everything you need to cook a meal. Upstairs, the bedroom has a sloping ceiling and a double bed which overlooks the sea. The room is equipped with a stylish table and chairs set beside the window allowing you to sit and sip your morning coffee whilst taking in the scenery. Completing the first floor is the relaxing en-suite shower room.

Mundesley is an ideal location from which to explore the Norfolk coast, with Cromer (7 miles) and Sheringham (12 miles) amongst a few of the best destinations to visit, all offering blissful days out on the sand. Further inland, a trip to the Norfolk Broads whilst staying in the area is a must. Head to Wroxham (15 miles) and you can book yourself onto a sightseeing boat trip to learn of the history of the area and keep your eyes out for fascinating water birds. Blakeney National Nature Reserve is also well worth a visit for lovers of wildlife, with opportunities for seal-spotting boat trips and diverse wildlife in the varied landscapes.

Great location in quiet coastal village when we stayed in September. View of the sea was great and everything you would need was within a short walking distance in the village.

Very enjoyable stay in an excellent location. The Old Coastguard hut was very comfortable with everything needed for a great stay. Lovely garden at pub opposite to sit and enjoy the seaside. Parking in car park was only down side.

We were delighted with this property. The location is amazing, literally across the road from the sea, and the property was spotlessly clean. There is a parking bay very close to the property for loading and unloading and a large car park very close by which is very reasonable at 34 for the week. We loved our time there. Fabulous cosy cottage, lovely views with a great pub and chip shop over the road what more could you want. Washer/dryer was very useful after a wet day out. The Chinese in the village was lovely and check out the village centre has a butchers and grocers which we found by accident.

Great location, well-equipped little holiday home. The owners had thought of everything and gave us some top notch recommendations for day trips and eating out. Mundesley is a lovely little place with everything you need if you don't feel like venturing away but also a good base from which to explore the surrounding area. The cottage had everything we needed for a month away from home. Parking just up the road is convenient as is the pub which is a few feet away. We bought a weekly car park ticket for the public car park just up the road which we could then use in other local car parks too. The Old Coastguards Hut it a very well thought out and comfortable place to stay. Views of the sea and in a quiet village location, despite it being on the road and opposite a pub. The property is very well appointed and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable king-sized bed. The public car park is only a few steps down the street, parking for 10minutes to unload is immediately outside so no problem.

The cottage is magnificent modification of an old lifeboat station that is close to the sea for local walks and centrally located to allow wider exploration of the East and North Norfolk coasts. It is quite spacious and equipped with a range of good quality facilities.
