I have just returned from volunteering at a Nelson’s Journey weekend. Nelson’s Journey is a Norfolk charity that supports bereaved children. The weekend is packed with activities, ways to cope and time to remember their loved ones.
My daughter, who now lives in St. Albans came ‘home’ to Norfolk for the weekend. She has lived here for 17 out of her 23 years and it is a county she has grown to love as she has grown up in it and will, she tells me, return to eventually.

It was my birthday a couple of weeks ago and a girlfriend came up from Cambridge to celebrate with me. We set off from Holt on a glorious spring morning, blue skies and sunshine to Letheringsett and then swung a right towards Wiveton.
Well The Kennel Club worlds largest dog show, Crufts 2014 is now under way and day two features the terrier group.
