Spring Watchers at Pensthorpe Natural Park

Pensthorpe call it “an ideal event for all the family”, Spring Watchers 2020 is a fabulous chance to explore the wonderful Nature Reserve and to learn how to identify bird calls and follow the ‘sounds of spring’ trail. An excellent opportunity to get the kids outdoors in a fun and informative way.

Mildred’s Magnificent Messy Fete at Bewilderwood

23rd May - 31st May 2020

Head on over to Bewilderwood for a magnificently messy fete and spring celebrations. Dance around the maypole, enter in the Grubbles Messy Mini Games, win gold at the egg and spoon race, dress up, have your face painted and zip along the treetops. This event promises to be truly unique and packed full of fun!

Norfolk Wildlife Trust Nature Detectives at Ranworth Broad

Join the wardens at Ranworth Broad and Marshes, where your little ones will learn how to identify different animal skulls and how to find out what Owls eat for their tea!

Fantasy and Fairy Tales Week at Wroxham Barns

23rd May - 31st May 2020

A perfect event for your prince and princesses! At Wroxham Barns they will meet real princesses, knights and maybe even a unicorn or two. Get stuck in with crown decorating and a very special build-a-teddy station, brand new for this year. Finish the day off with a unicorn afternoon tea washed down with a delicious unicorn milkshake.

Country Fair at Hoveton Hall Gardens

24th May -  25th May 2020

A fun-filled day with all the family (including four-legged friends!). Celebrate the late May bank holiday in the beautiful Hoveton Hall gardens filled with fantastic entertainment. Watch the redcoats of the East Norfolk Militia displays, marvel at the Falconry, enjoy a Punch & Judy show and indulge in the delicious local food stalls.

Incredible Insects at Holkham National Nature Reserve

An amazing event, free to all at the famous Holkham Estate. Each day different activities will take place all over the Nature Reserve taking a closer look at the incredible insects who call it home. From bees, to dragonflies, moths and many more your little ones won’t be the only ones learning! Go for a day or enjoy the whole week, the choice is yours.

Norwich Games Festival at the Forum Norwich

25th - 30th May 2020

If your children are gaming crazy, why not make it a family occasion by heading to the Norwich Games Festival. Completely free to the public, this festival sees leading and independent developers gather at the Forum in Norwich to show off their newest and most advanced games. Children will be able to get involved with workshops, talk to developers, get career advice and of course try the games!

Reepham Food Festival

24th May 2020

As the founding place of Norfolk Cottages and home to the Original Cottage Company, Reepham is a place close to our hearts. Why not join the village for a fantastic celebration of local produce, food and drink and even art. While you discover the amazing food Norfolk has to offer, pupils from the local schools will be performing music and taking part in cookery competitions.
