Looking for places to go to keep the kids entertained this October half-term….. Then look no further.Norfolk has so many great attractions to explore and with various extra Halloween themed events happening – you are guaranteed lots of spookily fun….. Mwhahahahahaaaaaaa

Thursday 22nd October – Sunday 1st November 2015 - Pensthorpe Trick or TweetCelebrate the spooky season and uncover a host of fang-tastic facts as you blow away the cobwebs and join the spooktacular meet and greet sessions. Prizes will be on offer for completing the trail and for those who visit dressed in freaky fancy dress! Daily from 10am – 5pm.

Saturday 24th October – Saturday 31st October 2015 – North Norfolk Railway – HalloweenThe North Norfolk Railway is ready with a week that’s full of treats and more than a spooky trick or two! Ghoulies and ghosties abound. Take a journey in darkness, whilst listening to the ghostly tales of Norfolk. Be sure to take along your camera and see if you're able to capture evidence of ghostly goings on along the line!First service departs from Sheringham at 9.45am 

Saturday 31st October 2015 – Fairhaven Woodland & Water Garden – Halloween FunJoin Fairhaven for a spooktacular Halloween party! Are you brave enough to enter, the creepy woodland trail where lost souls roam, delve down into the haunted hollow where the trees are alive with things unseen and live to tell the tale? Electrifying live music, cheesily cheerful children's entertainers, hot dogs plus much more awaits you. Dress code is diabolical, plus don't miss the frighteningly fabulous firework finale at 7.45pm!

24th October - 1st November 2015 – Dinosaur Park – Halloween DaysVisit the prehistoric paradise this half-term and not only do you have to watch out for dinosaurs scaring you, you will discover a number of Halloween themed activities including craft sessions, pumpkin carving, face painting and creepy creatures galore to keep you on your toes. 

Sunday 25th to Saturday 31st October – Holkham HalloweenThere will be tricks, treats, adventures and plenty of fun for all the family this half-term at Holkham. Dress for the occasion and be prepared for thrills galore as the Hall and Walled Gardens will be taken over with all things ‘spooktacular.’ With children based activities include, Spellbinding Tales, It’s Pumpkin Playtime, Tricks and Treats in Holkham Hall, The Halloween Express and a fancy dress Parade – don’t miss out! 

22nd October - 1st November 2015 - Sheringham Park – Horrible Halloween TrailA perfect chance to get the children outside, enjoy the fresh air, catch falling leaves, play conkers, hunt for spiders and take part in a guided or self- led Halloween trail around this beautiful park.  21st Oct - 1st November 2015 – BeWilderwood – The Glorious Glowing Lantern ParadeSpend the day exploring this fantastic family adventure park seeing all the Halloween woodland decorations, listen to a special edition of Bewilderbats storytelling and make your very own special lantern. The parade itself starts at dark where you can meet Slitherigrubs, Witches, naughty Thorneycold Spiders and Swampy himself. With lights, lazers and glowing pumpkins this stunning show is suitable for families with children of all ages.  

16th October – 1st November 2015 - Norfolk’s Biggest Halloween ExperiencePrimEVIL at the Dinosaur ParkLooking for something that will be sure to make you scream….The attractions within PrimEVIL - The dark, Forest of fear, Circus of terrors, Zone 64 east, Mayham manor hotel are all planned to scare, with live actors, special effects, props, strobe lighting and therefore not suitable for the under 12s….. Are you brave enough?!
