This morning in Norfolk the skies are grey and it is raining hard, such a difference from earlier in the week, for although we had frosty starts spring seemed to be in the air.
On Monday I headed off to Surlingham, this is a very lovely area of Norfolk, beautiful, peaceful countryside, with pretty unspoilt villages, yet very close to Norwich. Surlingham is also the home to Wheatfen and the Ted Ellis Trust which Norfolk Country Cottages support by asking our customers to contribute a £1 donation at the time of booking. First thing there had been a heavy frost but by the time I left home there was sunshine and a beautiful clear blue sky, very different to today.
As I drove through Kirby Bedon there was this lovely bank of daffodils dancing in the breeze which I just had to stop and capture on my camera and I thought it would be good to share today to bring a little sunshine into Thursday morning.
