Are you Egg–cited and looking forward to your Easter holiday in Norfolk?

I’m sure you will have an Egg-cellent time – whatever the weather there’s lots to keep the whole family entertained with many local attractions holding Easter themed events.

Not booked your break away yet? There’s still time............... But you better hop to it, as they’re booking up fast! 

Events over Easter

Saturday 28th March – Sunday 12th April 2015 – Easter at PensthorpeLeap like a frog, hop like a hare and get bug eyes as you weave your way around the reserve on a self-guided trail unearthing facts about enchanting species that share our natural world. Finish your day running wild as you swoop, soar and burrow your way around WildRootz – its great fun for any age!

Friday 3rd April 2015 - Fairhaven Woodland and Water GardenHunt for colourful eggs that will lead you to a chocolaty eggy prize! Face painting and Easter crafts for children.

Friday 3rd April – Monday 6th April 2015 – Broads ToursDiscover the Broads, Britain’s magical water-land by joining Broads Tours for an Easter special river trip. Children can take part with an on-board nature quiz, Easter egg hunt and free to enter colouring or drawing competitions. All trips include an entertaining commentary by the skipper; listen carefully for help with the nature quiz! All children will receive an Easter egg!

Friday 3rd April – Monday 6th April 2015 – Holkham Easter FunJoin Holkham for four days packed full of 'egg-citing' things to do over Easter. The events and activities will be great fun for all the family and Holkham Hall will be open each day.

Thursday 2nd April 2015 - RSPB Strumpshaw 1pm – 4pm Strumpshaw Fen is waking up and new life is all around. Put a spring in your step and join them for an afternoon of Easter fun for all the family.  See if you can unscramble the ‘wild’ clues on their spring trail to win an egg-citing prize (chocolate involved)! Nest building challenge and other Easter themed activities.

Saturday 28th March - Sunday 12th April 2015 BeWilderwood Bouncing Boggle Bunny Egg Hunt Bounce your way round a bunny themed trail, then with a little Easter gift settle down to hear the tales of Cedric and his friends at the story-telling stage. Visit the “big hat” and make your own ever-so-bonny Boggle bunny outfit. Get your face decorated with a pink or black nose and some wonderfully wiggly whiskers.

Saturday 28th March – Sunday 12th April 2015 – Dinosaur ParkExplore this fantastic park with dinosaur trails, play areas, crazy golf, an animal garden, face painting, Jurassic sky-wire, plus for the Easter break you can have a cracking time with some egg-stra special events. 

Sunday 5th April – Monday 6th April 2015 – Bressingham Whether your passion is gardens, steam, exhibits, rides or even a mixture of them all, Bressingham has something for all. Over Easter they have a children’s entertainer on site, plus find all the Easter egg designs to then win a chocolate as you leave.
