Celebrating 200 years of Piers!

The 200th anniversary of the opening of Britain’s first seaside pier is being marked on Saturday 26th July 2014 in Cromer.

To mark this special occasion 200 balloons will be released from the pier with wonderful prizes within them including the STAR PRIZE of a £200 voucher towards your next Norfolk Country Cottage Holiday!!!!!

Also head to Cromer Pier on Saturday for lots of family fun including…..
Backstage Guided Tours = 11am, 12pm, 2pm & 3pm
Take a rare glimpse backstage, to see what goes on behind the scenes and learn a little about the history of the Theatre and Seaside Special Summer shows.

Book Signing = 11am & 2pm
Find the Pavilion Bar where Tim Phillips and Anthony Wills, authors of the new book “British Seaside Piers and Directors of the National Piers Society will be selling and signing copies of the book which celebrates two centuries of the British pier.

Learn to Waltz with Free Dance Lessons! = 11.15am & 2.15pm
Enjoy a free open air dance lesson so by the afternoon you’ll be able to Waltz with the seaside special dancers.

The Cromer Pier Mini Show = 1pm
The cast from this summer’s highly acclaimed Cromer Pier Show will be performing a mini snippet of the show, outside on the Pier decking.

Waltz with the Seaside Specials Dancers = 3pm

BBQ on the Pier = 11am – 3pm
