3rd 9th 24th and 29th July 2014Racecourse, Great YarmouthHead to Great Yarmouth for a fantastic time at the races and maybe go home a few pounds richer! Great Yarmouth racecourse offers a relaxed atmosphere and is welcoming to all with plenty of facilities, including a modern grandstand, a children’s playground and expansive family lawns.
Friday 4th July 2014 - 7pmDiva Opera - Don Giovanni - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, HolkhamOften hailed as the most popular opera ever written, Mozart’s Don Giovanni was inspired by the legend of Don Juan and is undoubtedly his most dramatic work. Starring Changhan Lim as Don Giovanni with Alan Fairs, Ana James, Robert-Anthony Gardiner and Matthew Hargreaves, this new Diva Opera production for 2014 should not be missed. This is a black tie event and includes a champagne reception. Please bring your own picnics to be enjoyed on the terrace during the one hour interval.
Saturday 5th July 2014Fairhaven Woodland & Water Garden, South WalshamFrom 7.00pm to 9.30pm It's the history of Britain as you've never seen it before. Join the critically-acclaimed Pantaloons Theatre Company for a breathless race through the centuries in this delightfully inventive open-air show Harold I and William the Conqueror don't see eye to eye. Henry VIII decides five marriages isn't enough! Queen Victoria is most certainly not amused. This historically hysterical show is packed with songs, sketches and silliness and is suitable for all ages.

Saturday 19th – Sunday 27th July 2014Holt FestivalHolt's a place where small businesses, butchers and fishmongers thrive also where cafés, restaurants and antique shops are plentiful. During the festival week it is home to street performers, musicians, poets, actors, dancers, artists and comedians. There are performances at the church, the theatre, in the bookshop, and on the streets. Norfolk Country Cottages are again pleased to be sponsoring the childrens festival, which is running from Thursday 24th July - Sunday 27th July. For more information, click here.

From 26th July – September 23rd 2014Costume Procession & Wild Weekend, BeWILDerwood, WroxhamThis summer you too can dress to impress and create fabulous outfits of your own! The Big Hat will be brimming with glamorous, unusual and colourful materials to help you make fashion skirts, hats and accessories - as peculiar, inspired or as outrageous as you like! With face painting and storytelling (all of the BeWILDerwood stories!) and a costume procession through the park every day, plus puppet shows every weekend for the six weeks of summer – BeWILDerwood have summer all sewn up!
Saturday 26th July 2014Worstead Festival, WorsteadThe Worstead Festival is a charity that raises money for the benefit of Worstead and the surrounding area. For 2014 there are new attractions along with all your favourites, from the traditional heavy horses, the dog show & agility, weavers, tractors, art show, entertainment ring and historical Play Your Cards Right! Razz the Clown and Aunty Pearl are back along with friends from the family adventure park Bewilderwood. There's music, entertainment, theatre and lots of food with the Best of Norfolk marquee. Chefs will be showing off their skills and there will be lots of tasty treats to buy.
Tuesday 29th July 2014International Tiger Day, Banham Zoo, Banham Join Banham Zoo for a day of ‘ferocious fun’ to help celebrate International Tiger Day!
Wednesday 30th July 2014Sandringham Flower Show, Sandringham EstateSandringham Flower show is one of the most prestigious horticultural events in the East of England. Many of the region’s leading nurseries exhibit here. In addition to the show gardens the event has around 200 stands, a craft marquee and an entertainment arena.
Enjoys running, cycling, going to the theatre and supporting Norwich City Football Club.
