A Tasty Bite To Eat

A small fox

After a spell of closure I discovered the local pub at Lyng ‘The Fox’ had reopened again just a few weeks ago. Therefore on being asked to go for dinner yesterday evening I decided to go and take a look!

The pub all lit up offering a very warm welcome to come in and try, and finding the welcome was not only on the outside but from some very cheery locals inside too.
The pub has been renovated and offers good pub food dishes using the freshest local ingredients with a modern twist, we had a very enjoyable meal of homemade Chilli, with nachos and side dip.
On leaving we lingered on a conversation with two fine regulars, who indulge in a spot of Bell ringing at Foxley Church, mentioning that I could go along and join in!  They went on to mention it was fun, and as long as you can count to ten then you’ll be ok. I have enjoyed hearing them from my home and thinking they sound very nice, so I may just have to go along and give it a try!
