Self-Catering Holidays

Easter is fast approaching and it’s the time of year when the weather is improving and the nights are getting longer, the benefit of a long bank holiday to look forward to, schools out and you can look forward to a short break or week away, spending  quality time with your family, friends and  loved ones.

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season than booking a stay in a self-catering holiday cottage, a home-away from home. Where else but Norfolk!  With all the benefits of a whole house to explore it certainly beats living out of a suitcase for a week and should the weather turn inclement there is nothing better than nestling down with a hot chocolate, an open fire, a good book or dvd. Self-catering gives you space, choice and flexibility, unlike a hotel room!

Freedom has to be at the top of the list, no time restrictions on meals, conjuring up a culinary feast with local produce whether it is breakfast or dinner.  Alternatively you may wish to eat out at many of the fabulous pubs and restaurants in the local area. Norfolk features highly in good food guides.

You won’t have housekeepers hovering outside your room waiting for you to vacate, wondering whether they will have finished when you return from breakfast an hour later! You can come and go as you please, making the most of the garden and outside space; you never know it may be warm enough for the first barbecue of the year.

Our properties are suitable for a vast range of people, be it families requiring stair gates and travel cots, properties which allow you to take your pet on holiday so they too can enjoy the vast open spaces of beach, heath and woodlands or cosy cottages for two.

Self-catering with Norfolk Country Cottages offers great value; prices are generally much cheaper than hotels, guest houses or B&B’s.  A huge plus is taking a large family or groups of friends, sharing the accommodation and allowing you all to relax and be together sharing a unique experience, and because it is such good value you can then enjoy the many award winning attractions we have in Norfolk, Bewilderwood, Pensthorpe, Fairhaven Water Gardens and Wroxham Barns to name just a few, the choice is varied and suits all budgets. There are many extra special events happening over Easter.

Here at Norfolk Country Cottages we are committed to offering the highest possible levels of customer service, with our fantastic portfolio of holiday properties, all of them Visit England approved you can be confident in their quality. Why not get in touch, we will be more than help you in your choice of holiday, home-from-home.
