New Year Resolutions

2014 written in the sand

So as the start of January comes we all get that feeling of being a new person, it’s time for a new start. We say to ourselves that this year things will be different.

Bring on 2014!

What we say at the start of the new year………..
We won’t hit the snooze button in the morning but get up straight away, we will be eating healthily, with our recommended 5 a day and never indulging in naughty snacks. We will buy that gym membership and actually go to the gym at least 5 days a week. No more cheeky glasses of wine every evening. We will put money into a savings account every month without fail. We will drink the recommended 8 glasses of water a day. Finally we will see everything in a much more positive light.

What we actually mean by the second week into January………..
We won’t hit the snooze button in the morning but get up straight away……maybe an extra five minutes won’t hurt! We will be eating healthily, with our recommended 5 a day and never indulging in naughty snacks …… Unless we deserve them!  We will buy that gym membership and actually go to the gym…… At least 2 times a week (just in January) No more cheeky glasses of wine every evening …… Maybe just at the weekend to start with! We will put money into a savings account every month without fail ……Unless we see something in the sales that we just have to have! We will drink the recommended 8 glasses of water a day. Well I’m sure tea and coffee counts! Finally we will see everything in a much more positive light……Until something goes wrong!

So all in all, I’m sure before January ends we will all be back to our normal selves. :)
Happy New Year!
