Cromer Fireworks

Cromer New Year’s Day Fireworks = Wednesday 1st January 2014

This year will be the 15th year running the Cromer skies have been lit up in a spectacular display of fireworks on New Year's Day, have your cameras at the ready as they hold a competition for the best photograph taken also please give generously as all the money raised goes towards keeping this event alive along with supporting a number of local charities.

The organisers have planned to mark the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War by starting with a display of red fireworks representing poppies.

2pm = refreshments and mulled wine on sale in the parish church and outside the Cromer museum.
2.30pm = register for the fun run.
3pm = one mile fun run starts. (Fancy dress optional)
5pm = Grand fireworks display.

The following car parks will be open on New Year's Day:
NNDC The Meadow and Cadogan Road - usual car parking fees
NNDC Runton Road - £2 set fee from 2pm, usual fees prior to 2pm
Cromer Town Football Club, Mill Road - Open - No charges
Cromer Tennis Club, Norwich Road - Open - No charges
Amazona Zoo, Hall Road - Open - No charges
Cromer Hospital, Mill Road - Open all day - normal charges apply (up to 3 hours £2, up to 4 hours £3, maximum up to 8 hours £6)
