Escape to the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with your small family or the other half for a relaxing getaway in this bright and contemporary property with a gentle coastal theme running throughout. If you can tear yourself away from the idyllic sandy beach on your doorstep, there are numerous nature reserves, charming market towns and historic landmarks within easy reach.

Make yourself at home in the neutral-toned kitchen/diner and put your feet up on the plump sofas in front of the TV. Gather around the wooden dining table with chairs after cooking a special meal in the bright ‘U’-shaped kitchen, with modern appliances and a contemporary feel. Upstairs is a family bathroom plus two bedrooms – a king-size and a double. Outside is a large, landscaped garden with a lawn and furniture which is shared with neighbouring properties.

Set in the heart of the coastal village of Brancaster, you’ll be less than 1 mile from Brancaster Beach – from here, you can stroll along the seafront to reach the RSPB Titchwell Marsh Nature Reserve (2 miles) with a lagoon and visitor centre. Visit the nearby Scolt Head Island Nature Reserve (3 miles) for birdwatching opportunities among the sand dunes and mud flats. Spend an afternoon at Burnham Market (5 miles) browsing the boutique shops or tasting the local cuisine – on Wednesdays, you can visit the pop-up market. History enthusiasts will love the 13th-century Creake Abbey ruins (7.5 miles). You can also delve into the history of Holkham Hall (9.5 miles) – which also has a lake, woodland, play area and walled garden.

We had a lovely stay. The flat is cosy and warm and comfortable. The views are wonderful and the location is brilliant. We are already recommending it to a friend.

We had some problems with the heating which was resolved quickly. Maybe some additional instructions would help? The hot water for the shower did not last long but we made it work. Might be tricky for a family coming off the beach needing a quick turn around. Loved the location & building & good to be cack in Norfolk.
