Only three miles inland from the splendid sandy beach at Holkham is the fine Georgian village of Burnham Market, where elegant houses and flint cottages cluster around the village green. There is an excellent selection of quality shops as well as good restaurants and pubs. Nature reserves are at Titchwell, Holme and Cley, and there are golf courses at Brancaster, Hunstanton and Fakenham.
