The village of Great Ryburgh and the neighbouring peaceful hamlet of Little Ryburgh are set in an area of Norfolk known as the Wensum Valley, named after the river which meanders its way through the lovely countryside and provides excellent fishing opportunities. The beach at Wells-next-the-Sea is just ten miles away and the entire beautiful North Norfolk coastline is easily accessible. The market town of Fakenham, which offers a selection of shops, restaurants, a cinema, ten-pin bowling and a National Hunt racecourse is four miles away and the lovely Georgian town of Holt with its fashionable and unique selection of shops and cafes is also nearby.
