Eastgate is a small hamlet situated a short distance from the historic market town of Reepham which offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants with Wednesday being the town’s market day. Eastgate is also home to The Ratcatchers, an inn well known locally for its excellent food. Surrounded by countryside and farmland, it is a peaceful spot from which to enjoy and explore this attractive part of Norfolk.  The National Trust property at Blicking is just 5 miles, the seaside resort of Cromer a little further afield and the cathedral city of Norwich is 12 miles away.
