The Staithe at Sutton is a picturesque location on the River Ant. Boats can be hired from the Staithe and fishing is permissible with a rod licence. Sutton village boasts the largest corn mill in the country at nine storeys’ high and whilst not open to the public it is well worth a look. The village is also home to a small pottery studio. The small market town of Stalham is the home of the Broads Museum and is just minutes away. The beach at Sea Palling is just four miles, with Happisburgh, Winterton and Eccles beaches a little further. Both Norwich and Great Yarmouth are easily accessible and the centre of the Broads at Wroxham is a short distance by car. Kingfisher Cottage is a modern, recently built property which offers comfortable, well-equipped accommodation in a pretty location beside the Staithe at Sutton. With a balcony off the sitting room which is on the first floor and enjoys views over the local countryside and a patio off the downstairs main bedroom both of which are south facing. You can enjoy a stroll beside the river, hire a boat to explore the broads further or enjoy a drink or meal at the small hotel/restaurant nearby.  Shop: 1 mile  Pub: 100 mtrs
