Keep well-occupied with beautiful nature walks around Norfolk that provide good exercise to yourself and your tail-wagging friends. Comb the expansive beaches with plenty of room to run and play. Give them a good workout across flat sands or weaving in and out of sand dunes with attention-grabbing plants and wildlife that will keep your pet active for hours! Don’t forget to check for seasonal restrictions in advance, as some of the more popular beaches may have some in the summer months. There are many dog friendly pubs around the county of Norfolk. Within The Norfolk Broads try the Ferry Inn, Reedham, the Bridge at Acle, The Maltsters at Ranworth to name but a few, any of the riverside pubs in and around the Broads are great places to sit outside and watch the world go by. Around the coast try the Dun Cow at Salthouse, it has a great garden and views over the marshes, the Fisherman’s Return at Winterton-on-Sea, walk the nature reserve first and enjoy a welcoming fire and good local food. Norfolk is a dog’s heaven, awash with woodland walks, National Trust sites, Sheringham Park, Blicking Hall and Felbrigg Hall all have great walks to enjoy with your four legged friends.
