Cottage holidays have been one of the huge success stories of recent years, and our reputation – and your revenue – depends very much on us working in partnership to deliver a consistently high quality of accommodation to our discerning customers.
We want our Norfolk holiday cottages to offer a real home-from-home, and every self-catering holiday taken with us to be hassle-free and memorable for all the right reasons. We aim to exceed expectations… and with the support of our homeowners, we frequently do!
Many homeowners enjoy handling housekeeping, maintenance and key exchanges personally – if you live close to your cottage it’s a good way to meet customers and get caught up in the excitement of their holiday.
But a core part of our offering to homeowners is a Managed Services package, whereby we will recruit a cleaner for your property, notify him/her of bookings, schedule cleaning requirements, and pay him/her on your behalf, all for a small management fee. We can also arrange for maintenance work to be carried out and will add an admin charge to the cost of any invoice for this.
Alternatively, our team of Property Supervisors enables us to offer a premier service of full property management from our Holt office. This service includes a quality check prior to each booking, provision of a welcome pack using local and Fair Trade products for each booking, an emergency on-call service, regular maintenance checks, arrangement of a deep clean of your property at the beginning of the season and regular winter visits while it is empty.
Make sure you’re well covered…
The provision of suitable insurance cover for your holiday property is paramount. It is a specific requirement of our Letting Agreement that you insure the property and its contents to their full value, and notify your insurance company that it is let for holiday use. It is wise to insure against loss of income in case your property requires work or repairs which render it unsuitable for letting. And we also ask that you have Public Liability insurance cover of no less than two million pounds, or not less than five million pounds for a holiday property with an occupancy of eight or more people.
