Banking and Bookings

It is part of our company ethos to make things as simple and straightforward as possible, and that is certainly the case when it comes to dealing with homeowner payments and bookings.

TABS is our own industry-leading booking system; it is integrated with our bank to initiate payments to homeowners – homeowners are paid by BACS on the seventh working day of each month for bookings commencing in that month.

You will receive a monthly statement which details your income for the current year and shows future bookings, and we are also able to produce an annual statement to help in the completion of your Tax Return.

We ask homeowners to sign a simple and user-friendly Letting Agreement which sets out each of our obligations and details the financial agreement between us. The terms of the Letting Agreement usually apply for one year but we are happy to discuss a range of options to take account of any need for greater flexibility.

The Letting Agreement appoints Norfolk Country Cottages as your sole agent – we have found that this is the best way to avoid the risk of double-bookings which would disappoint customers and damage our reputation for service and efficiency.

You can, however, make your property unavailable for letting so you can enjoy it yourself – and unlike many of our competitors, we place no restrictions on the number of Homeowner Weeks you book. All we ask is that you give us as much notice as possible of the dates you’d like to use your property, so we can mark it as unavailable for letting on our booking system.
