Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens

Description:
At home in the landscaped grounds of Thrigby Hall is a special collection of rare animals from Asia. Included are Sumatrau tigers, Red Pandas, Gibbons, others & the largest collection of crocodiles in the country. There are many features unique to the Wildlife Gardens such as the Willow Pattern Garden with its 12 bridges over the lake, tree walk over the prowling tigers, & walk through the swamp & forest houses. Play areas suit children of different age groups. Parking is free & picnics are welcome although there is a generous cafe. The gift shop in the hall has a wide choice of prices to suit all pockets. The site is almost level, disabled welcome & well catered for.
