Stow Windmill

Description:
Stow Mill situated 400 yards from the sea on the North Norfolk coast just outside Mundesley, was a corn windmill working from the time it was built in 1828 until 1930. At that time all its interior machinery below the brake wheel was removed and since then private owners with the help of grants, donations and admission charges have kept what remains, sound and in good repair. Sails and stocks were replaced in 1990 and a complete replacement of the fantail and fantail gallery was completed in 2003. Other repairs and renovations are on going.
