The Buckinghamshire Arms
Description: There can’t be many pubs owned by the National Trust – though it might increase our thirst for ‘heritage’ – but Norfolk certainly has one. It’s called the Buckinghamshire Arms and the air is heavy with drinking history. Built in 1693 to house estate workers at Blickling Hall, the ‘Bucks’, as it is known to fans and locals, became an alehouse in the mid-18th century. It has remained happily so ever since. Opening Times: See website Contact Details: Website: http://www.buckinghamshirearms-norfolk.co.uk/food.htm Address: Blickling, Aylsham, Norfolk, NR11 6NF Back to Overview Back to Map
