Easter in Norfolk

 
Heading to Norfolk for an Egg-cellent holiday this Easter... You are guaranteed to be spoilt for choice with so many attractions offering fun for all the family.
 
Hop along to the multi-award winning Pensthorpe and celebrate Easter on a fun self-guided trail which weaves you around the reserve unearthing secrets about enchanting Easter traditions.
 
Have a cracking time at the Dinosaur park, along with exploring the 100 acres of wood & parkland, enjoy meeting the animals, Neanderthal walk, adventure play area, raptor racers, Jurassic putt, Assault-o-saurus, face painting also over Easter there will be many egg-citing activities and egg-stra special events taking place!
 
Peppa Pig is coming to Bressingham on the 5th and 6th April 2014!
Come and see her at intervals throughout the day at this unique day out of steam and gardens, along with childrens entertainment, rides and a farm petting zoo.
Also during Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday there will be a Children’s Entertainer on site, Punch & Judy show and if you find all the Easter Egg designs as you go round Bressingham you can collect a Crème Egg as you leave.
 
This Easter holidays, the wild & imaginative adventure park of BeWILDerwood are holding a Boggle bunny bouncing bonanza! Follow a bunny themed trail through the park to make your own bonny Boggle bunny outfit in the Big Hat. Don your exquisite Easter ears, bonnet and bow tie, stick on a tail and get your face decorated with a pink or black nose and wonderfully wiggly whiskers. Create an Easter card to exchange for a basket and token. Ready? Then hop off to the bunny tunnel entrance. Bounce your way around to find the Big Egg. With a wiggle of your tail and a flap of the ears, hippity hop home with a charming chocolate egg and card of your creation!
 
From the 18th – 21st Apr 2014, The Bure Valley Railway are offering a free Easter Egg for every child when accompanied by a fare-paying adult (maximum of 2 children per adult). Trains are departing from Aylsham at 10.00, 11:30, 12:40, 14:20 and 15.30, alternatively from Wroxham at 11.10, 12:40, 14.00, 15:30 and 16:40.
 
Join in with all the Egg-cellent activities, 18th-21st April at Holkham Hall, with face painting to become a bunny for the day, then get creative in the bygone museum, play egg croquet, enjoy storytelling and search for Easter bunnies in the main hall. Don’t forget to look out for the Easter rabbit and collect your Easter egg before leaving.
