Hardly a week goes by when we don't
visit my favourite place in Norfolk, Cromer. There's the cliff top walk
past the lighthouse and the summer activity of the putting greens, hole
in ones are abundant!
Cromer is the only place on the
North Norfolk coast to have a pier and I like to visit the lifeboat station
situated at the end of the pier or sit and watch the many people arriving
for the various shows that are performed in the Pavilion Theatre. It's
good to go to the cinema, where they have all the latest films.
When in season there's the freshly
caught seafood to choose from, my favourite being a freshly dressed crab.
A walk up from the sea front past the people congregating outside Mary
Jane's fish and chip shop, there's always a queue so they must be good,
but not for the waistline!
Along the high street passing
the many different shops, cafes and restaurants to the church with the
highest tower in Norfolk, which you can climb, but not me I've no head
for heights. A quick stop off at Jarrold's to peruse their books and then
home for a nice crab sandwich, Cromer my favourite place in Norfolk.
